In today’s world, we have more capabilities and efficiencies than ever before. Everyone has a smartphone with internet, email, a hi-def camera and many more features. All of these however, exponentially increase threats and the self imposed risks of your principal. Everything is a give and take, and nothing is free – they enable us, they hinder us.
Personally, I prefer to be unarmed and I am 90% of the time (while working, I carry CCW everyday) but when I do carry it is a Glock 19 or a Kahr P9 with a Precision Holsters Ultra Carry Elite at 4 o’clock.

Our students seem to like our simple and effective disarming technique taught in out Unarmed Compliance & Disarming Techniques class in the 3 Day Executive Protection Agent Training Course – our technique is taught on the premise that the weapon is not pointed at you in a “stick up” type situation, but at someone else – i.e. your principal. We don’t teach stick up disarms, we leave that to the pro’s like Master Ken here…let us know what you think!
