The curriculum of the Protective Medical Training Course – Emergency Medical Response meets and exceeds the requirements set by the National EMS Education Scope of Practice for an Emergency Medical Responder, a national certification. This course provides the necessary tools for the rescuer to help sustain life, reduce pain and minimize injury during out-of-hospital medical and traumatic emergencies while awaiting or alongside higher-level personnel at the scene.

While Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) does not provide state licensure or certification, this course is ideal for those seeking to receive training similar to the training EMS professionals receive, specifically those in security, public safety, or law enforcement.
