Virtual Learning Agreement
Below are the requirements, acknowledgments, and recommendations for attending a virtual course:
- Please have a private, quiet, distraction-free, comfortable and well-lit environment with a stable, capable WiFi connection
- There should only be one person (the paid attendee) present for the presentation. If there are multiple people noticed, or video is off, the participant will likely be removed from the course
- Have your preferred method of note taking ready
- Be familiar with the platform – I recommend starting your own Zoom meeting prior to the course to ensure proper operation and your settings are the way you want them. (i.e. muted upon entry, blurred background, etc.)
- Turn off any audible notification alerts and silence your mobile
- Download the relevant resources prior to the course
- Video and mic on as much as possible through the course to encourage participation
- Raise your hand (virtually or physically) or put question in chat or just ask
- Please be a responsive, engaged and an active participant
- A multi-screen setup is best – one to view the presentation and another for course work. (Not required, but this works best)
- We will take breaks approximately every hour, and a lunch break daily
- Please text me privately at 954-993-4440 with any issues
