Temporary Housing Agreement
Purpose: To provide clear expectations for short-term housing so you can focus on work, to protect the condition of the property, and avoid unexpected costs.
Provided by the Company
- Nightly rental charges and standard move-out cleaning fee.
- Included utilities and internet service, if provided.
- Initial basic household supplies, if provided.
Your Responsibilities
- Care for the property as you would your own home.
- Follow any posted or provided rules from the owner or property manager.
- Reimburse costs for damages, missing items, fines, or extra fees you cause.
Cleaning
- Maintain general cleanliness: wash dishes, bag and dispose of trash on schedule, and wipe spills promptly.
- Do not leave food out to prevent pests.
- You are responsible for any specialty or excess cleaning (for example: smoke odor, stains, biohazards, or trash overflow).
Damage and Fees
- You are responsible for the actual costs of damage, loss, or fees resulting from rule violations (for example: late checkout, noise complaints, parking tickets, lost keys/fobs/garage remotes).
Guests
- Daytime visitors are allowed if they do not disturb neighbors.
- Overnight guests require prior written approval.
- You are responsible for the conduct of your visitors.
Pets
- No pets unless pre-approved and permitted by the property.
- If approved, you must follow all pet rules and cover any related cleaning or damage.
Smoking, Alcohol, and Drugs
- No smoking or vaping indoors. Use only designated outdoor areas if permitted and dispose of waste properly.
- Consume alcohol responsibly. Illegal drugs and disruptive intoxication are not permitted.
Noise and Neighbors
- No parties or events.
- Keep noise at a reasonable level at all times.
- Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., or stricter if posted at the property.
Parking and Vehicles
- Park only in authorized areas and follow posted signs and permit requirements.
- You are responsible for tickets, towing, or damage involving your vehicle.
Check-In and Check-Out
- Adhere to the stated times and instructions.
- Unapproved late check-outs that incur fees are your responsibility.
Safety and Reporting
- Locate exits, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and fire extinguishers upon arrival.
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damage immediately.
- Report any undisclosed cameras or suspicious activity immediately.
Wi-Fi and Devices
- Do not tamper with owner-provided equipment (thermostats, routers, detectors, cameras, noise sensors).
- Do not engage in illegal downloads or activity on the network.
Social Media and Privacy
- Do not post the address, access codes, or identifiable photos of the property during your stay.
Shared Housing (if applicable)
- Be considerate in shared kitchens and bathrooms; clean as you go.
- Keep common areas clear and use headphones for calls or music.
- Agree with housemates on lights-out and quiet times.
Issue Resolution
- Notify us promptly if something goes wrong so we can address it quickly.
- We will handle charges fairly. You agree to pay costs that are your responsibility; we will cover costs that are ours.
