2 Day Defensive 3 Gun Course

This course is designed to teach realistic and functional weapons handling for the security professional.

• Proper gear selection and placement
• Round selection and ballistics
• Proper stance, grip, sight alignment, sight picture, trigger control and recoil management
• Speed reloads and tactical reloads
• Immediate and remedial action for malfunctions
• Strong and weak hand shooting
• Shooting on the move
• Communication
• Situation specific shooting positions
• Multiple target engagement
• Barricade shooting
• Concealed drawing and shooting
• Low light tactics

Required Gear

• Pistol – 9mm, .40, or .45 with 3 magazines - 600 rounds minimum
• Pump or Automatic Shotgun - 200 rounds bird, 25 buck, 25 slug minimum · Carbine with 3 magazines - 600 rounds minimum
• Eye Protection & Ear Protection (electronic preferred)
• Weapons cleaning gear, lube and tools (if applicable)
• Appropriate clothing and foot wear
• A sling, holster and magazine pouches
• Secondary weapon mounted and/or handheld light
